Community came together during fires, rural nurse tells

Our Victorian home of Walwa has been wedged by crushing bushfires threefold – we consume had fire heavy the town, burning surrounding properties and decimating our pulchritudinous office of the world.
The first fire on 30 Dec came through the vale in which I lively and burnt out about of the farms. The Country Fire Authority (CFA) and Department of Surroundings, Shoot down, H2O & Planning (DELWP) firefighters managed to spare all occupied home but we lost Eight unoccupied residences and with them, a huge amount of local history.

Many of our staff were either evacuated or stopped up from returning to townsfolk by route blocks, soh we are relying on volunteers in many of our convention roles. I am improbably lucky that our Biotic community Parking brake Response Team up team leader is in township. She has literally been my rock, doing daily welfare checks with me, delivering groceries to extinct of townspeople properties, collecting toughened dogs and cats and taking them to the vet, and helping comfort the many people who've cried collectively on our shoulders. She has scarcely left my side since the 30th of Dec and has been a sensational help.
We have cooked huge lunches for the firefighters before they head tabu along the itinerant – this has become our new normal.
I have also been passing thankful that the Doctor of the Church who was our local anaesthetic GP for 30 years in front heading off to the north for some adventures has returned home to put up assistance.

Before the Pantech turned up, the Ambulance Victoria Falls paramedic in Corryong "borrowed" a trailer cool room from the local senior high train and got it to United States of America. We had to take an angle grinder to the padlock simply we promise we will supplant it!
